Prayercast: Unity And Hope In Christ, Envelop Students With Love And Grace, And All Sufficient Grace Of God In Times Of Overwhelm

Teachers Who Pray | Spiritual Arsenal

In the demanding field of education, we face daily interactions with various individuals, including students, parents, and colleagues, which can sometimes lead to stressful situations. However, it’s important to remember that God intends to refine our hearts through these challenges, not to add to our burdens. Trials are not meant to tear us down, but rather to build us up as we strive for Christ-like relationships. Instead of harboring resentment towards those who cause us stress, we should pray for them, as taught in Luke 6:28. By doing so, we open ourselves to witness God’s transformative power in our hearts and relationships.

Join our Prayer Call as we lift these challenges to God and seek His guidance and strength.

Prayercast: Unity And Hope In Christ, Envelop Students With Love And Grace, And All Sufficient Grace Of God In Times Of Overwhelm

Prayer Of Adoration

Prayer of adoration. Father God, we come to your throne today with this prayer of adoration. The Bible speaks many words about who you are and what you’re like. This isn’t just to give you the glory that is due to you but also to remind us of who you are. Right now, we take just 30 seconds to boldly declare to you who you are to us. Father God, your true word says that you are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are our set of time, God. You were here before we were created, and we long to spend an eternity with you. We know that you are Jehovah-Jireh, our provider.

When we were in bondage to sin, you provided a way for us to be returned to you with the sacrifice that you made by sending your only begotten Son and the sacrifice that Jesus made to give his life up for us, all while we were still dead in our sins. You are our source, so we are lacking no good thing. We know that you take care of us, so we patiently wait on your timing and your will in anything that we need to be done now. We thank you in advance for it. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. We thank you in advance for healing and thank you for the healing that we have already seen manifested in our lives and the lives of others.

We praise you because we don’t have to beg to be healed, because healing is the children’s bread, and we don’t have to beg for this bread. Thank you that the stripes that Jesus endured years ago mean that we are healed and don’t have to live in fear and worry about sickness, as you are a great physician. Father God, you are love. We never have to worry about the absence of love when you are with us. Everything we need is supplied by you because of your power and your great love for us. We will strive to love others as you love us, faithfully and unconditionally. Father, we continue to show our adoration to you with our words, actions, and mindsets. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer Of Confession

Amen. Hallelujah. As we continue with our confessions, Heavenly Father, we just thank you that you are merciful and you are kind. As we gather together to boldly come to this throne of grace to receive this mercy, we cry out to you, Abba, have mercy on us. Have mercy on us, O God, when we have not placed you first. Have mercy on us, O Lord, when we have not given you the glory and have not even given you thanks. For it is you that gives seed to the sower. It is you that gives bread to the eater. It is you that has brought the latter rain. Even as we have entered into this harvest, Lord, we ask you to forgive us as we confess, O God, our lack of gratitude. As we confess, O Lord, not being thankful and grateful for having these working limbs on our bodies, minds to think, eyes to see, ears to hear, mouths to speak, O God, even our senses to explore and experience your wonderful ways and those of our loved ones.

O Lord, we repent. Have mercy on us. We confess, O Lord, that oftentimes, O Lord, we don’t come to you until we suffer great affliction or when times get tough. Even in those moments, Lord, we confess that we may even accuse you, accusing you of the loss, the hurt, the pain, asking you why, as if you don’t love us. O Lord, have mercy. We confess. Forgive us for those times, O Lord, when we have not been grateful for our educations and the ability, O God, to use our gifts and talents as teachers to pray for students, colleagues, and friends. We confess, Lord, that we have murmured and complained, oftentimes gossiping, O God, in the midst of discord and division. O Lord, we confess. We confess, O Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, in those moments when we’re irritated and angry, and we have sinned in our anger and have not thought about our actions nor our words.

O Lord, we confess. We confess, O Abba Father, that we didn’t speak to you about the situation and instead spoke to everyone else. O Lord, we confess. We repent. Have mercy on us and forgive us. Lord, forgive us of all sins, known and unknown, sins of thoughts, actions, or words, those conversations we have within ourselves. O Lord, you know, you hear, you see. O God, you know all things. We repent, Lord, of our sins, and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ. Have mercy on us as we come to you in confession. Hear the cries and the confessions of your children, O Lord, and create in us a clean heart, renewing in us your holy, righteous Spirit. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen

Prayer Of Thanksgiving

Prayer of Thanksgiving. Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you to give you thanks. This is the day that you have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. We come to you, entering your gates with thanksgiving and into your courts with praise. We give you thanks, and we bless your name. We thank you because every good and perfect gift comes from you. We give thanks to you, Lord, for you are good, for your steadfast love endures forever. Let all of us who are redeemed of the Lord give you thanks, Lord. You have redeemed us from trouble. We rejoice always, we pray continually, and give you thanks in all circumstances, for this is your will for us in Christ Jesus. We praise you, Lord, with all our inmost being. We praise your holy name. We do not forget all of your benefits.

Spiritual Arsenal: When we have grateful hearts, the fears of this world are overshadowed by the beauty and the light of Your blessing.

You forgive all our sins, and you heal all our diseases. You redeem our lives from the pit and crown us with love and compassion. Lord, we thank you for your provision. We thank you for your steadfast love. We thank you for your mercy. We thank you for your loving kindness. We thank you for your long-suffering. We thank you for making a way for us to have a relationship with you through your Son. We thank you for calling us to be teachers. We thank you for equipping us for our calling. We thank you for the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the Spirit, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, and the shoes of the gospel of peace. We thank you that you give us the ability to stand and to continue to stand day after day, moment after moment.

Lord, we thank You for calling and equipping us to be teachers. Share on X

We thank you, Lord, for your word. We thank you for prayer. We thank you that you are our strength and our shield, and in you, our hearts trust. We are helped by you all our days, and with our mouths, we will give thanks to you. Lord, we choose to rejoice in you always. We pray that our gentleness will be evident to all. You are near, Lord. We pray that you will help us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to you, O God. Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Now, therefore, we thank you and praise your glorious name. Amen.

Prayer Of Supplication

Prayer of Supplication Lord, help us, Christian believers, encourage one another in our schools. We understand that good deeds overcome evil ones. As believers, help us to do good deeds, especially when the temptation is great to give in. As we see our brothers and sisters in Christ struggling to give in to weariness and to give in to temptations of the easy way, the prideful way, the jealous way, the greedy way, help us see them with your compassion. Give us courage to approach them in humility and love, to give them courage to fight the big fight, to not weary of doing good, and help us direct them and their focus back on the goodness and blessings that we will reap when we choose to please you. Above all, help us remember our blessings, because when we have a grateful heart, the hurts of this world fade away.

When we have grateful hearts, the fears of this world are overshadowed by the beauty and the light of your blessing, and we are freed from our earthly troubles so that we can fill our hope that is in you and act out of our hope for good things, and await with faith that you will respond in perfect timing with your goodness. Encouragement towards and for one another is so important in opening the door to unity with you and with the body of Christ, and to do your good works in the midst of trials. Help us reach out and encourage one another. Lord, this is a season of grading, a season of paperwork, and parent-teacher conferences. It is a stressful time because the workload is heavy. Gathering resources, putting finishing touches on grades, writing out behavioral notes, and updating student portfolios is daunting alone.

We add conferencing with families on top of the mountain of tasks, and it can all begin to feel insurmountable. In this time, remind us to meditate on you. Help us look up to you, to see and to remember your love, your grace, and your guidance. Fill our cups with your holy and perfect love, that we may step away from the middle of the daunting tasks and see it from your perspective, with your priorities, and with your precepts guiding our behavior. Help us give ourselves grace in these preparations. Remind us that we are here to see the goodness in our students, that we are here to nurture their good choices, and we are here to help them grow through logical and loving consequences. Most importantly, Lord, that we are here to be an example of your perfect and unconditional love.

I pray that when we conference with our students and families, they see that we have a heart and mind to do what is best for these students, that we have a peace and God-confidence that leads us to do all the best for students, and that we have a love greater than our own to wrap our students and families with, a love greater than our own to wrap them with, even in times of correction. Help us show your love. Lord, please be with us as we begin to weary from the troubles of this world and the schemes of this world. Be with us as we tire and lose our consistency in your purpose, your high purpose, and as we lose our consistency in quality and godly decision-making. When we tire, Lord, please bless us.

When we conference with our students and families, we may have the hearts and minds to do what is best for these learners. Share on X

Send someone to lift us up, so their encouragement will point us back to your path and remind us that you supply our needs, that you protect us from Satan’s earthly schemes, that your grace is sufficient for us, and that we are enough in you. Remind us that you love us to overflowing and that you chose us and called us to live this beautiful purpose, to teach your most precious children. Fill our cups, Lord, from your vast storehouses of blessings. Let it run over to your glory. Amen.
